Volvo Car Spain is one of the leading premium automotive brands in the Spanish market. Under the leadership of José María Galofré, who joined the company in 2000 and has served as CEO since 2005, the brand has strengthened its position in Spain over more than two decades, with a strong focus on innovation, sustainability and long-term value creation as the industry moves toward electrification.
In this interview with the Spanish-Swedish Chamber of Commerce, José María Galofré shares his perspectives on leadership, change, and what it means to lead with both knowledge and humanism. He is CEO and Managing Director of Volvo Car Spain, and has served as President of the Chamber since 2022.
