The new office offers specialised services to operators, network equipment vendors and system integrators
Blue Telecom Consulting (BlueTC®), an international telecoms consultancy international strengthens its market position with the opening of a new branch office in Malaga. The new office, located in the Technology Park of Andalucia (PTA), will serve its local as well as its international customer base, and already counts 20 telecom professionals.
To BlueTC, Malaga fulfills a series of characteristics that makes the city an ideal location for consolidating its growth. Firstly, the city started orienting its economic activity towards the ICT sector already in the nineties, with the creation of Technology Park of Andalucia in 1992. Since then, the PTA has been offering optimal conditions for the development of technology based companies focused on innovation. Secondly, it has the ability to attract highly qualified professionals both locally and internationally, that possess specialised skill sets that are high in demand globally.
Miguel Ángel García Matatoros, managing director of BlueTC, affirms that “our expectations for the new office are high. Currently we have 20 employees, but medium-term we hope to increase this number to 50. Among other virtues, Malaga offers excellent living conditions, a fact that is highly rated by the professionals in our sector and something our local and international customers will benefit from”.
From the new offices, BlueTC will keep developing its ample range of services and solutions for operators, network equipment vendors and system integrators. Of all the solutions aimed at these market segments, the management of IP network security should be highlighted. The company has also created specific solutions for operators that offer mobile M2M/IoT connectivity. These are also available to the M2M/IoT operators’ customers, in particular those that employ IoT technologies in their critical processes. More specifically, BlueTC offers the possibility to monitor the quality of M2M/IoT networks in real time.
The Andalucia Technology Park is located in privileged, natural surroundings 13 km from the centre of Malaga, 7 km from the University Campus and 6 km from the airport. There, a perfect balance has been created between multinationals, the university and small, innovative companies. Currently it gathers around 630 companies that each year generate more than 1.600 million Euros and has a workforce of close to 17.000 people.
