Do you want to work as a chef at the stunning Swedish west coast?
Summertime is the busiest time of the year for the numerous restaurants located at the beautiful Swedish west coast, with thousands of tourists visiting every season. The many fishing villages along the coastline supply extraordinary sea food to be enjoyed by the countless guests.
These restaurants are now hiring for their most important season, and they are interested in chefs from Spain!
To be an interesting candidate, you will need to have at least 2 years of experience as a chef, and preferably some kind of vocational training within the field. The season begins in the middle of June and ends in the end of August, and you will start some weeks in advance to get a proper introduction. To be able to work in a Swedish restaurant kitchen, you have to be able to communicate in English. Furthermore, you need to be flexible, willing to share your knowledge and be open to new influences in cooking and cuisine, as well as being a team player. It is important that you have a genuine interest in people and service, and that you have a true passion for good food.
The working conditions are beneficial, since Swedish employers are known for their high standards when it comes to a healthy and safe work environment. Wages and monetary benefits are determined by collective agreements. Employers can assist in the search for accommodation.
