We would like to give a warm welcome to our new Premium Member, Vithas hospitals.
Vithas hospitals in the Valencian Community boast the largest private healthcare offering in the region, which will further expand this year with the inauguration of a third hospital in the city of Valencia, named Vithas Valencia Turia. In Alicante, the group operates two hospitals: Vithas Alicante and Vithas Medimar. In Valencia, they manage three facilities: Vithas Valencia 9 de Octubre, Vithas Valencia Consuelo, and Vithas Valencia Aguas Vivas, and one in Castellón, known as Vithas Castellón.
The group is part of the Goodgrower Group and was established in 2012 with the mission of improving people’s lives. It started with ten hospitals and 3,100 professionals to serve nearly 1.5 million patients. Since its inception, the spirit of growth within the company has led to an expansion to currently include 20 hospitals and 36 medical and care centres across 13 Spanish provinces, employing 12,500 professionals who care for 5.5 million patients.
The group also encompasses the Vithas Foundation, Vithas Red Diagnóstica, and the PlazaSalud purchasing centre, basing its corporate strategy on accredited healthcare quality, patient experience, research and innovation, as well as social and environmental commitment.
